Diving Inspections

This is the foundation on which Safe T Marine Ltd was formed.

We use Health and Safety Executive (HSE) qualified Civil Engineer divers to insect any marine structure both above and below water level, both in the UK and overseas.  We have considerable experience of both modern and historic structures of all material types.

Using this experience we are able to not only look and comment on the individual structural elements, but also comment on the bigger picture, including changes of use, loadings etc.

Whilst we do not undertake repair work directly, we can advise you on both suitable repairs, prepare specifications etc and also assist in the selection of appropriately experienced contractors and managing the contract on your behalf.  Alternatively, we can arrange work to be undertaken by specialist contractors that we have direct experience of, that we have worked closely with in the past.

Any surveys will be followed up with a comprehensive report including photographs (and video - if appropriate) and drawings detailing the location of the defects in AutoCAD format (or other formats if required).

All diving work will be undertaken in compliance with the Diving Operation at Work Regulation 1997 and the appropriate Approved Code of Practice in addition to any local requirements.
